Summary
| Description |
English: Pheromone trap for codling moth (Cydia pomonella). The pheromone (codlemone) is embedded in a red capsule placed in the middle of a cardboard plate covered with an adhesive. Male specimens of the coddling moth are attracted and eventually get stuck on the adhesive. The plate here was collected after two weeks where the plate was installed in a protective housing hanging in a pear tree in my garden close to Viborg, Denmark. Français : Piège à phéromones pour codling moth (Cydia pomonella). La phéromone (codlemone) imprègne la capsule rouge au milieu du carton qui est recouvert d'un adhésif. Les spécimens mâles du papillon sont attirés et éventuellement collés sur l'adhésif. Le piège photographié a été relevé après deux semaines dans un poirier de mon jardin près de Viborg, Denmark. |
