Deutsch: Die Birken verweisen redend auf den Ortsnamen und das Mühlrad erinnert an die Eyersheimer Mühle bzw. das ehemals zugehörige Dorf Eyersheim, auf dessen Flurgemarkung Birkenheide entstand. Die Farben Schwarz und Gold verweisen auf die Kurpfalz, Gold und Rot auf Weisenheim am Sand.
