Slovenčina: Kartuziánsky kláštor. Rehoľa kartuziánov tu pôsobila v 14. - 16. storočí. Patrili k najprísnejším kontemplatívnym rádom v rímsko-katolíckej cirkvi, ktorý je absolútne verný dodnes zásadám svojich zakladateľov. Rehoľné pravidlá kladú dôraz na význam kníh - ako „večný pokrm duší", a stanovujú rukami kázať (t.j. písať) slovo Božie, keď ho nemôžu kázať ústami, preto sa venovali ich odpisovaniu, výzdobe a viazaniu. |
