Postcard advertising the "Seventeenth National Orange Show" in San Bernardino, California, February 17–27, 1927; woman coming out of an orange, holding oranges, in the middle, flanked by displays seemingly constructed out of oranges. Address side of postcard shows 1927 postmark. Caption on that side states: "An exposition of rare beauty — a scene from Fairyland — nowhere else in the whole world such a dazzling sight — colorful, magnificent. A visit to California is not complete without a trip to the National Orange Show. [new paragraph] Presented in its own great exposition building in the dead of Winter when all nature is at its best in California the National Orange Show has the distinction of being the world's most gorgeous spectacle. The Seventeenth Show will exceed in beauty and grandeur all former expositions. CALIFORNIA'S GREATEST MID-WINTER EVENT. [new paragraph] Last year's attendance: 265,000. There is a [unintelligible word]."
