Depicts the founding myth of Tenochtitlan: An eagle which exhales the atl-tlachinolli (war symbol) is perched on a nopal with human heart blooms, amid the waters of Lake Texcoco, and from which emerges the heart of Copil, nephew of Huitzilopochtli.
