Purpose of use

It is important in relevant articles to be able to identify this highly-successful soloist of the Alexandrov Ensemble (Red Army Choir), who was world-famous as a representative of Soviet music, and who was employed by Stalin to use his position for national propaganda purposes via music only. He is especially important for the part he played in the Berlin peace concert of 1948.

Replaceable?

The subject of this image is deceased so creation of a free replacement would be difficult if not impossible. There is no known other image of him out of uniform during his solo career, which is under free licence.
