The photo F-84G-20FW-Shaw.jpg is not an F-84G but is an F-84B-36-RE Thunderjet(S/Ns 46-638/673 were for the F-84B-36-RE). The 20th did not receive its G models until it arrived at Langley AFB, VA in Nov 1951 where it took on the task of becoming the worlds first nuclear fighter unit (the G model being nuclear capable unlike earlier variants), before shipping over to RAF Wethersfield, UK.
