Fine Gold (formerly, Finegold and Gold) is an unincorporated community in Madera County, California.[1] It is located 6.5 miles (10 km) west-southwest of North Fork,[2] at an elevation of 1352 feet (412 m).[1]
A post office operated at Fine Gold from 1881 to 1882.[2] When the town of Gold was established in 1894, the townsfolk moved there.[2]
