François Jackow (born June 12, 1969 in Paris) is the CEO of Air Liquide since June 1, 2022, a French industrial group specializing in industrial gases and employing more than 66,000 people since the acquisition of Airgas in 2016.[1]

Biography[edit]

François Jackow studied at the Lycée Henri-IV before joining the Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand. In 1992, he graduated in chemistry and biology from the École normale supérieure. He took advantage of a university exchange to simultaneously obtain a Master of Arts in chemistry at Harvard University. In 1993, he obtained an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs.[2]

He began his career in 1990 with L'Oréal as an associate researcher. From 1991 to 1992 he worked for the oil company Shell as an industrial risk consultant.[3]

He joined the Air Liquide company in 1993.[4]

He will climb the various levels of the company[5] to be appointed president and CEO on June 1, 2022, succeeding Benoît Potier. [6]
