Traffic Snarls

Frog Hill area is notorious for traffic blocks lasting one or two hours at times. The reason for the traffic issues is the narrow uphill track with heavy traffic of long buses and heavy trucks. Tourists from Kerala come in larage numbers during the morning hours and they all climb down the hill by five p.m. Tamil Nadu buses assert on the roads and Kerala drivers are very rude. Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation adds to the confusion by running unusually long Volvo buses in this narrow track filled with numerous hairpin bends.
