Gwendolyn Angeline Albert Maria Rutten (born 26 June 1975) is a Belgian politician. She is a member of the Flemish liberal party. At the moment she is a federal representative and the chairwoman of Open VLD since 2012.

Rutten was born in Hasselt, and read Law and International Politics at the Catholic University of Leuven.[1]

She is also city councillor in Aarschot since 1 January 2007, and schepen since 1 January 2013.[2]
