Haryana Urdu Akademi is a government of Haryana, India, organization that aims to promote Urdu language in Haryana state. It was established in 2005.[1]

The organization organises seminars, events, Mushayras, releases books and publishes magazines on the subject.[2][3][4] The Akademi also has a public library that was started in September 2020.[5]

Corruption

In October 2020, the director of Director of Haryana Urdu Akademi Narender Kumar was caught for doing corruption at the organisation that was revealed during the audit of the organisation.[6]
