History
In June 2008, the band released their second EP, A Tale of Risky Business.
In 2009, they achieved more success with the Bandslam single called "Where Are You Now,"[4] which is featured on the movie's soundtrack album. Later, they also covered the The Cars song "Magic" for the Wizards of Waverly Place soundtrack.[5]
In May 2009, RollingStone.com named them one of the six breakout bands from Bamboozle to watch.[6]
In July 2009, Honor Society performed at the Miss Teen USA pagent, which had a worldwide live online broadcast from Atlantis Paradise Island, in the Bahamas.[7] In August 2009, the Honor Society presented the "Fab-U-lous" award at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
Their debut album, Fashionably Late, was released on September 15, 2009.[2]. The band performed songs from this album as an opening act on the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009[8] and as headliners on the Full Moon Crazy Tour which was a smaller venue tour i.e House of Blues. This involved playing their songs off the new record and featured special guest Esmee Denters.
Television
During the summer of 2009, Honor Society made several television appearances on local news stations in New York City[9], Milwaukee[10], Washington DC[11], Chicago[12], and Los Angeles. On the 30th of August 2009, they were on Much Music in Toronto Canada with the Jonas Brothers and performed "Over You" and "Where Are You Now". They also performed "Over You" and "See U In The Dark" on CBS-TV for the Arthur Ashe Kid's Day on August 30. The band also performed on the Today Show on September 25, 2009, with a performance of the song "Over You". They also performed 2 songs on the Halloween edition of the CBS Saturday Early Show on October 31, 2009. On December 3, 2009 the band performed "Over You" and "Here Comes Trouble" on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on ABC-TV.
Personal Lives
The band considers it their mission statement to "connect with as many fans as possible".[13] All four of them have individual twitter pages to do so as well as contact fans on their official facebook. They are also known for having "Pinkberry Parkinglot Parties" (PPP) where they connect with fans outside of Pinkberry restaurants. All four band members are currently single.
