Hyllus is a genus of the spider family Salticidae (jumping spiders).
Most species occur in Africa and Madagascar, many in Australasia up to India. H. insularis is found in Greece and Iran; however, it is considered misplaced in this genus.[1]
Name
Hyllus was the son of Heracles and Deianira in Greek mythology.
