I am Kelly J. Morris <kjmlists@comcast.net>. I am writing or editing several articles about Africa where I have experience and expertise. I have started with "Losso" (a lingustic and ethnic group in Togo) and "Niamtougou" the town in Togo that is the center of the Losso people." I wanted to add a map to the "Losso" article that shows their region of origin and the zones to which many of them have migrated. I found a map of Togo showing administrative districts at <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Togo_prefectures.png> that was labeled as public domain. I modified this image to show the Doufelgou Prefecture (home area), Niamtougou, the district capital, and three migration areas. I renamed it: Losso_home_&_migration_map.png I assume that, since this is a modification of a public domain graphic, it is public domain as well - at least, that is my intention.
