Description
Dansk: Den nyere del af kirkegården i Upernavik, Grønland. Da Upernavik ligger på en klippeø placeres kisterne ovenpå jorden og dækkes med sten og/eller cement. Gravene er pyntet med kunstige blomster.
English: A newer section of the cemetery in Upernavik, Greenland. In the absence of diggable soil the coffins are placed directly on the ground and covered by rocks and/or cement. Artificial flowers are used for decoration.
Français : Une zone récente du cimetière d'Upernavik, au Groenland. Le sol ne pouvant être creusé, les cercueils sont placés dessus puis recouverts de pierres cimentées. Les tombes sont décorées avec des fleurs artificielles.
