Japan Information Processing Development Corporation (JIPDEC or 日本情報処理開発協会 in Japanese) was established in 1967 for development of key IT technologies and policies, as related to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). It is known for their recent contrinbutions to security and privacy issues.

Japan Information Processing Development Corporation (JIPDEC) was established in 1967 for development of key IT technologies and policies, as related to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

It is known for their recent contrinbutions to security and privacy issues, such as Privacy Act (Japan) (2005), Privacy Mark (P Mark) and Information Security Management System (ISMS).
