Jasmine Paolini (Italian pronunciation: [paoˈliːni];[1] born 4 January 1996) is an Italian tennis player.

She was born to an Italian father and to a mother of Ghanaian and Polish descent.[2]

On 2 March 2020, Paolini reached her best singles ranking of world No. 93. On 10 May 2021, she peaked at No. 160 in the doubles rankings. She has won eight singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Circuit.

Career

Paolini was given a wildcard into the main draw of the doubles tournament at the 2015 Italian Open, partnering Nastassja Burnett.

After failing the qualifications at the 2018 Australian Open, she joined the Italian team in the Fed Cup in two occasions. On 1 May 2018, she had her first win over a top-20 player when she beat Daria Kasatkina, and the following day, she won against Anna Karolína Schmiedlová.[3]
