Javornik is a small dispersed settlement on the slopes of the hill with the same name to the south of Črni Vrh in the Idrija Municipality in the Goriška region of Slovenia.[2] Its remoteness and high altitude have meant that locals have moved away from their farms and there are no longer any permanent residents in the settlement.
