Joseph Pinckney McCain II[1] (b. April 26, 1942[1]), also referrered to as Joe McCain, is a stage actor, newspaper reporter, and brother of John McCain. He is the son of John S. McCain, Jr. and Roberta McCain and was born at the hospital on the naval base in Template:City.[1] He is an Episcopalian.
Joseph McCain was a member of the United States Navy and served aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) during the Vietnam War.[1]
He stumped for his brother in the 2000 Presidential Campaign and in 2008.[2]
He has voiced his support for Israel.[citation needed]
On October 15, 2008, The Baltimore Sun obtained an e-mail written by McCain with the subject title "Shoaling" that spoke about his unhappiness with unnamed top campaign officials who "control the message" of his brother's run for president;[3]
On October 21, 2008, Joe reportedly made a phone call to the emergency number 911 in Northern Virginia, complaining about being stuck in traffic, which he ended with an obscenity. [4]
