Johanna Francisca Theodora Maria "José" van Dijck (15 November 1960, Boxtel)[1] is a new media author and professor of Comparative Media Studies[2] and former dean of the University of Amsterdam. She is the author of the recent books, Mediated Memory in the Digital Age[3] and The Culture of Connectivity.[4] She is also active as speaker at various universities.[5]
