Kevin Canty (born January 17, 1953) is an American author of novels and short stories. He is a faculty member in the English department at the University of Montana at Missoula, where he currently resides. Canty received his master's degree in English from the University of Florida in 1990. He received his M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Arizona in 1993.

Personal life

Kevin Canty is the brother of the musicians Brendan Canty and James Canty.
