Dhaka Kotwali (Bengali: ঢাকা কোতোয়ালী) is the Sadar (Principal) Thana of Dhaka District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Dhaka Kotwali is located at 23°42′20″N 90°19′30″E / 23.7056°N 90.3250°E . It has 31992 units of house hold and total area 2.07 km².
Demographics [edit]
As of 1991[update] Bangladesh census, Dhaka Kotwali has a population of 210,504. Males constitute are 63.21% of the population, and females 36.79%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 133,564. Dhaka Kotwali has an average literacy rate of 62.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
