LNDN DRGS is a Canadian duo made up of Jay Worthy and producer Sean House.

As of 2020, they have been primarily releasing projects through their GDF Records imprint distributed through Empire Distribution and FatBeats Distribution worldwide. As well, they have released the free album, Aktive & Burnout 2 under Fool's Gold Records after performing at the 2015 Fool's Gold Day Off event in Los Angeles.[1][2]

History

Mentored by the late ASAP Yams who collaborated with them on their 2014 breakthrough single entitled 'Uza Trikk' which featured him in the intro, as well as fellow Los Angeles-based rappers, G Perico and Earl Swavey. The music video featured a cameo of Freeway Ricky Ross with whom Jay met while selling Indian weaves.

Before the formation of the duo, Jay Worthy had been rapping solo. His 2011 release 'The Lifestyle' featured support from Beem Bizness, Tre Nyce and Status with whom he met as a member of the Blockstars Movement, based out of South Central, L.A. The album was hosted by DJ Mustard. In 2014 and 2015, he collaborated with his step-sister Grimes in order to release two Christmas songs.[3]

In 2016, Jay made a cameo appearance in the Noisey documentary, 'NOISEY Bompton': Growing Up With Kendrick Lamar', released through Vice.[4] In 2017, Jay Worthy was featured in the music video for HUMBLE by Kendrick Lamar. That same year, Jay made his debut appearance at Boiler Room in L.A.[5]

In 2018, Jay Worthy toured across America alongside many artists including Tyler The Creator, Schoolboy Q and Freddie Gibbs who had collaborated with LNDN DRGS on the Deluxe edition of 'Aktive'.

LNDN DRGS has released three collaborative projects with rappers Curren$y, Left Brain, King Most and two with producers A$AP P On The Boards and The Alchemist.

The duo released a collaborative compilation entitled: 'Affiliated' in 2019. The project features guest appearances by Conway The Machine, Soopafly, Larry June, Aston Matthews, Krayzie Bone, Problem, Iamsu!, G Perico, Mac Mall and others.

In 2020/21 Jay Worthy released 2 solo projects and LNDN DRGS dropped the album Burnout 4. Jay Worthy was also made guest appearances on albums by Larry June and Jim Jones.
