Lauren Brant (born 24 February 1989 [citation needed]), is a former member of the Australian pop group Hi-5. She was born in South Africa and moved to Gold Coast, Australia. She is of half-Afrikaans. [citation needed]

Early life

As a little girl, she has trained under the Australian Acting Academy and was with Hi-5 from 2009 until 2014.[citation needed]

Career

In 2009 she joined Hi-5 with Fely Irvine and Tim Maddren, joining Stevie Nicholson and Casey Burgess.

On 12 June 2014, Brant announced on her Twitter account that she would be leaving Hi-5 after the upcoming Australian tour.[1] In 2015, Brant appeared in the Australian version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Personal Life

In September 2015, Warren Riley, Brant’s now ex-fiance, aired a story that Brant had an affair with rugby league celebrity Beau Ryan, while they were both working on 'Aladdin and his Wondrous Lamp' production, after discovering text messages.[2] Warren stated that she admitted to the affair and he broke up with Brant shortly after.[3]
