Leonie Richter is a fictional character on the German soap opera Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love). The character is portrayed by Stefanie Bock, who debuted in the role on 9 August 2011.[1]
Background
After the forbidden love with his twin sister Julia von Anstetten, Jan Brandner moves on and starts a new life with Kerstin Richter in Paris. Jan can't forget about Julia, which leads him to break up with Kerstin. She soon learns that she's pregnant with Jan's child, a daughter, Leonie. Raised by her mother, Leonie wants to know about her father and is told by her mother that he walked out on her. Heartbroken, Leonie starts to hate her father without even knowing him. She decides to find him to confront him.
Storylines
Meeting Timo and Emilio; finding out the truth
Timo Mendes and best friend Emilio Sanchez see the photo Leonie uses for her search and recognize that the man is the priest of their community in Palma de Mallorca.[2] She asks them for his address and is determined to confront him. Leonie travels there alone and is caught by Emilio when she searches Jan's place.[3] Timo and Emilio confront her to learn her connection to Jan; she tells Timo that Jan is her father. Timo can't believe Jan would walk away from his own child and wants Leonie to talk to him. Leonie sees Jan when he's counseling a pregnant teenager and calls him a hypocrite. Jan apologizes for potentially having said something to hurt her and she reveals that she is his daughter.[4]
