- Aurea ( United Kingdom): World War II: The trawler was bombed and sunk in the North Sea 150 nautical miles (280 km) east by north of the Isle of May, Fife by Luftwaffe aircraft.[1]
- Guiseppe ( Italy): The collier foundered in the North Sea off Withernsea, Yorkshire.[2]
- Halle ( Germany): World War II: The cargo ship was scuttled sometime in September or October to prevent capture by the French .[3]
- Kinsol ( United Kingdom): The cargo ship sank off Sanda Island, Argyllshire.[4]
- Ruban ( United Kingdom): The collier ran aground on The Lizard, Cornwall and was wrecked.[5]
