"Live from Death Valley" is a single by experimental hip hop group Death Grips, released on June 28, 2011, through Deathbomb Arc.

Background

In June 2011, free downloads of "Live from Death Valley" were made available through Deathbomb Arc's Bandcamp page, with cover art for the single made by Mario Zoots.[1]

In November 2011, the two tracks were featured on the second half of Deathbomb Arc's Singles Club collection.[2]

In late August 2016, Deathbomb Arc issued cassettes for sale on their website,[3] stating that it had "been requested time and again to get some sort of physical release".

The track title "Fyrd Up" is in reference to MC Ride's previous group, Fyre.[original research?]

Re-release on streaming services

On June 27, 2022, Redditor u/Land-Of-The-Free-3 submitted a post to Death Grips' official Subreddit claiming that Live from Death Valley would be released to streaming services on July 11.[4]

On July 11, 2022, the two tracks were re-released to streaming services.[5]
