Luc Picard is a French Canadian actor and comedian. He was born on September 24, 1961 in Lachine, Quebec, Canada. He has played numerous characters in diverse roles.

He is most commonly known for his portrayal of the infamous Michel Chartrand in the biographical TV series Simmone et Chartrand, where he was nominated for Gemini Awards. His film credits have included Un dimanche a Kigali, Cap Tourmente, Le Collectionneur, L'Audition, La Femme qui boit and Le Dernier souffle. He won a Jutra Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2003 for his role in Le Collectionneur,[1] and a Genie Award for Best Actor for his role in Savage Messiah.

He was formerly married to actress Isabel Richer, until they announced their split in 2013.[2]
