The Malagasy Kingfisher or Madagascar Kingfisher (Alcedo vintsioides) is a species of bird in the Alcedinidae family. It is found in Madagascar, and Mayotte (Comoros). Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.

It is closely related to the Malachite Kingfisher (Alcedo cristata) which is widely distributed in mainland Africa.
