Matthew Robert Field[1] is a British diplomat.[2] He joined HM Diplomatic Service in 2003.[2] Between August 2018 and June 2022 he has served as the British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.[3][4] In January 2023 he is due to take the post of ambassador to the Czech Republic.[5]
