Musashi Itsukaichi Station (武蔵五日市駅, Musashi Itsukaichi-eki) is the terminus of the JR East Itsukaichi Line. Located in Akiruno, Tokyo, Japan, the station has a single island platform, above ground level, for boarding trains heading toward Haijima Station on tracks on both sides. JR East operates the station. Facilities within the building include a Midori no Madoguchi, automatic machines for selling and taking tickets, and a convenience store. The station has north and south exits. During 2004, Musashi Itsukaichi served a daily average of 4,809 passengers.

History

• 1925-04-21: Opened as Itsukaichi Station on the Itsukaichi Railway
• 1925-06-01: Changed name to Musashi Itsukaichi Station after 41 days
• 1925-09-20: Extension of line to Ōguno and Musashi Iwai Station opened
• 1940-10-03: Itsukaichi Railway merged with Nanbu Railway
• 1944-04-01: Nanbu Railway nationalized during war; joins Japanese Government Railways (later Japanese National Railways or JNR) system
• 1961-04-15: Line electrified (Haijima - Musashi Itsukaichi - Musashi Iwai)
• 1971-02-01: Segment from Musashi Iwai to Ōguno abandoned; passenger service terminated on segment from Ōguno to Musashi Itsukaichi
• 1982-11-15: Segment from Ōguno to Musashi Itsukaichi abandoned
• 1987-04-01: JNR privatized; JR East assumes ownership of line and station
• 1996-07-06: Station elevated.
