The Orkney Wave Power Station is a proposed wave power station to be built by Summer 2011 at Orkney, Scotland. Upon its completion, the facility would top 2.4 MW in installed capacity,[1] becoming the largest wave power station in the world.
The power station would utilize the Oyster-2 wave power generating technology, the newer version of the Oyster wave energy converter.[1]
