Panasonic Gobel Awards (former name: Panasonic Awards), is the annual appreciation for the most favorite television programs and performances in Indonesia based on people's choice poll conducted by Indonesia's Citra tabloid since 1997. Since 1997, Panasonic Awards Broadcast on Indosiar, and their time to present, Panasonic Awards now broadcasts on 1st television network, RCTI.
In year 2006, Panasonic Awards is broadcasting on three major television networks: RCTI, TPI, Global TV. But in 2004, Citra gave up the polling and instead it has been based on survey by Nielsen Media Research and the results were tabulated and audited by Ernst & Young.
