The Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing was founded in 1902 and chartered by the New York Board of Regents in 1904.[1]

It has been located at 776 Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue) in Manhattan, NY since a move in 2005 from 310 East 22nd Street.[2]

Academics[edit]

The school's Associates degree program in affiliation with Pace University, initiated in 1983, was accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission in 1985.[2]

Janet Mackin replaced Cynthia Chesner as dean in 2001.
