Physical Training Instructor ("PTI"), also known as Fitness Specialist ("FS") is a term used in the Singapore Armed Forces for an instructor in Physical Training.
In the armed forces, they are usually specialists who serve with a minimum rank of Third Sergeant. All PTI's "pass out" from School of Physical Training where they undergo a vigorous programme of lectures, physical training & close combat tactics.
The PTI emblem consists of two crossed swords. All PTI's follow their core motto; "Endure & Excel".
