Port Gibson Battle Site is the location of the Battle of Port Gibson in the American Civil War.

It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2005.[2][3]

An extensive account of the Battle of Port Gibson is available.[3]

There is a separate Registered Historic Place named Port Gibson Battlefield, which was added to the register in 1972. As it has a distinct reference number, it may or may not cover a different area than the area covered by the National Historic Landmark for "Port Gibson Battle Site".

In 2009, the Port Gibson battlefield was designated by the Civil War Preservation Trust as one of its annual Top 10 most endangered Civil War battlefields.[4]
