How to add your nomination[edit]

  2. Put a link to the fact below on this page and describe why.

Current nominations[edit]

...I think that the story of Saint Maximilian Kolbe giving his life to save a married man with children should be considered for the next nominee. IustinusMartys (talk) 00:39, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

... that Saint Alexander of Comana was noted for being "exceptionally filthy and dirty"?

Can I just add this to the Portal page? Does anyone check this? Alekjds talk 03:43, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Actually, I do. We try to make sure that these meet the standards of regular DYKs. One of those standards is that an article be over 1500 characters and not marked a stub. This one unfortunately is marked a stub. Generally, we pull out old DYKs from the Community Portal, although I am going to try to create additional ones for Top and High importance articles which don't have those yet. If anyone wants to help in that regard, please feel free to do so. John Carter 20:35, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
