An 1877 painting by Casimiro Castro, part of the Album del Ferrocarril Mexicano, Coleccion de Vistas Pintadas del Naturel (Mexican Railroad Album), shows a train crossing the San Lucas Bridge as it approaches Huamantla, Mexico.
