Psyche (ISSN 1039-723X) was a refereed electronic journal dedicated to supporting the interdisciplinary exploration of the nature of consciousness and its relation to the brain. Psyche published material relevant to that exploration from the perspectives provided by the disciplines of cognitive science, philosophy, psychology, physics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence and anthropology. Interdisciplinary discussions were particularly encouraged by the journal.

Launched in 1992 by Patrick Wilken, Psyche was one of the earliest attempts at an online academic journal. It was relaunched in 2008 as the official journal of the Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness. The executive editors of the journal during this phase were the neuroscientist Gabriel Kreiman and the philosopher Robert van Gulick.

As of 2011, Psyche is no longer accepting articles, but the archive remains accessible.
