Refugees is a drama by Bosnian writer Zlatko Topčić published in 1999. Drama is a bilingual, Bosnian and English language. In the "Intellect Ltd." edition (United Kingdom - Bristol, United States - Chicago), has been published the book "Refugees Performance" (2013) by Australian professor Michael Balfour, which deals literary, and especially drama creativity, the theme of refugees on more than 300 pages from various aspects. Among eighteen authors from all over the world who artfully testify on this subject, there are also Bosnian writer Zlatko Topčić, whose drama Refugees is the only integral published in this prestigious edition.[1]

The main character, Almasa, a strange woman full of unprecedented vibrations and accents, a time discreetly gentle with a touch of warm human sincerity, a time deeply depressed almost stiffened by the evil it is following.[2][3]
