Hi, not sure if you saw my response on my own Talk Page to your message, so here it is reposted for you: Thanks for the note and for leaving the Citation Neededs in place. I am once again removing the peacock language from both articles. "Internationally acclaimed" and "prestigious" are subjective, and are not necessary adjectives to understand the article at hand. They meet Wiki's definition of Puffery; see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipuffery ...especially given that the Remake claim is not cited, nor are most of the film festival claims in The Abandoned. Wikipedia strives for neutrality. The phrase "the internationally most awarded play in the history of the Bosnian theater" is quite bold, not to mention ambiguous, and an unsourced claim like that violates Wiki's "verifiability" rule, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Verifiability ...I am also removing (again) the "Bulgarian, Macedonian, Swedish" translations of Topčić's works since the given source, Balfour, does not mention these languages and so the claim remains unverifiable. Also, "overloading pages history" is not a thing, to my knowledge. Thank you for your work on these and another pages. Once you brush up on the standards of Wikipedia, I have faith that your contributions will tend to stick more permanently. Topčić[edit]
I note that you, make many edits related to Topčić, that isn't a problem so long as the content is neutral and factual and reliably sourced to sources independent of Topčić.
In fact much of the content of the pages fails pretty much all of those conditions.
If you really want information about Topčić to be available to a wider English-reading audience, claims such as "Topčić is regarded, by literary critics, to be one of the most significant phenomena in world literature at the beginning of the 1980s" are so self-evidently nonsense that they actually harm his reputation and make him look ridiculous. I haven't yet checked the source in that instance, but in other instances, the source for claims turns out to be interviews with Topčić himself!
Topčić has carved out a reputation within a fairly narrow band of Balkan writers and film makers, some of his films have received some critical success on the international festival circuit. Presenting that neutrally and factually would be doing Topčić a bigger favour than the kind of badly written press-release-exaggerated style of some of the present articles IMO. In fact I've now looked at the source for the "one of the most significant phenomena in world literature" claim. Actually the source says "Dr. Spahic talked about Zlatko Topčić as a significant phenomenon in world and BH literature at the beginning of the eighties". No plural 'critics', no "one of the most" and I don't mean to disparage Spahic, but no single critic - anywhere on the planet - gets to speak for the whole world.
