The Rule of Ren and Xuan (仁宣之治; pinyin: Rén Xuān Zhī Zhì) (1424-1435) refers to the reigns of Emperor Hongxi (r. 1424-1425) and Emperor Xuande (r. 1425-1435) of the Ming Dynasty, which was considered the golden age of that dynasty. After Emperor Xuande's death, the dynasty began to gradually decline.
