Salma Akhter is a Bangladeshi singer. She was the winner of the second series of CloseUp1: Tomakei Khujchhe Bangladesh, a musical talent show similar to Idol that is broadcast on the Bangladeshi channel NTV. Salma likes to sing traditional Bengali folk songs.

Salma Akhter was the youngest of all contestants in this competition. She is a regular girl next door from an average family. She was brought up in a small village in Kushtia. She generally likes to sing Fakir Lalon Shah's songs. She did not have a formal education in music. Salma has taken Lalon Shah as her inspiration. Her father is her main driving force along with her family.

"She is truly a natural singer. I always get the fragrance of Bangladesh in her voice. I am not at all surprised as she walked away with the first prize", said Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, one of the judges of the Closeup1 competition.

Recently, she married Mr. Sybly Sadeq who is a upzial chairman & owner of shopnopuri picnic corner.
