Shiv Thakare[2] (born 9 September 1989),[3] is an Indian reality television actor. In 2017, he participated in MTV Roadies Rising. He also participated and became the winner in Bigg Boss Marathi 2 and The Anti Social Network in 2019.[4][5][6] Currently, he is participating in Colors TV's reality show Bigg Boss 16.

Career

Shiv started his career by participating in the reality show MTV Roadies Rising in 2017 and he reached the semi-finals of the show.[7] After that he appeared in 'MTV's The Anti Social Network. In 2019, He participated in Marathi reality show Bigg Boss Marathi 2 and ended up winning the show[8][9][10][11][12] In 2020, He joined MTV Roadies Revolution Pune as audition panel.[13] Recently, he turned an entrepreneur by launching his new deodorant brand.[14]

Since October 2022, he participated in the Colors TV's reality show Bigg Boss 16.

Personal life

Shiv Thakare born in Kayasth family, Thakare is sub caste of Kayasth community. Shiv was dating his Bigg Boss Marathi fellow contestant Veena Jagtap from 2019 but they broke up in 2021.[15][16][17]

He was ranked twenty-first in The Times of India's Top 30 Most Desirable Men of Maharashtra in 2019.[27] He was ranked First in The Times of India's Top 15 Most Desirable Men on Marathi Television in 2019.[28][29]
