Splitting Up Together is an American single-camera sitcom series that will debut on ABC as a entry in the 2017–2018 television season. The series, based on the Danish sitcom Bedre skilt end aldrig created by Mette Heeno, Mie Andreasen, and Hella Joof,[1] is being adapted for American viewers by Emily Kapnek and Heeno as co-creators. They also serve as co-executive producers alongside Ellen DeGeneres, Jeff Kleeman, Andreasen, and Joof, for A Very Good Production, Piece of Pie, and Warner Bros. Television. The series was greenlit on May 11, 2017.[2]
Plot
The series will chronicle what happens when a couple's marriage is suddenly reignited by their divorce.
