Spyridon Ventouras (Greek: Σπυρίδων Βεντούρας) (Lefkada, 1761 – Lefkada, 1835)  was a Greek painter representative of the Heptanese School.

Biography

Spyridon Ventouras was born in the island of Lefkada, in the Ionian Sea, at 1761 during that period the Ionian Islands were under the name of the Venetian republic. Ventouras studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia. He occupied mainly the position of a painter of Hagiography and Portraits.[1] He passed away in home town Lefkafa at 1835.[2]
