Suzanne Mary "Sue" Ellery (born 12 May 1962 in Perth, Western Australia) is a current Australian Labor Party MP serving the role of Leader of the Legislative Council as well as the Shadow Minister for Child Protection; Disability Services; Community Services; Early Childhood and Women's Interests. She has been a member for the electoral region of South Metropolitan since 2001.

She joined the Australian Labor Party, whilst she was at the University of Western Australia in 1982. She was the National women's officer of the-then Australian Union of Students from 1983-84.

On 2 March 2007 she was sworn in as Minister for Child Protection; Communities; Women's Interests; Seniors & Volunteering and served in these roles until 23 September 2008.

Since 26 September 2008 she has been the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council and Shadow Minister for Child Protection; Community Services and Disability Services.

Ellery was the Shadow Minister Seniors and Volunteering from 26 September 2008 to 26 January 2012.

She has been the Shadow Minister for Women's interests since 14 February 2011.
