"British Lions"?[edit]

Should this really be called a "British Lions" tour in the title? 78.32.103.197 (talk) 22:45, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there were no official "British Lions" until 1950. All tours before this date are retrospectively called Lions tours, but if we removed the Lions from the title it will really confuse people as to what these tours are. FruitMonkey (talk) 23:49, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's confusing to list this as a "Lions" tour. It's not. Simple as!--MacRusgail (talk) 18:46, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

Am I right in thinking this is the only British Isles tour to feature a Manx player? (Penketh)--MacRusgail (talk) 14:12, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Australian rules football[edit]

According to the Andrew Stoddart article, in addition to the 35 rugby union matches, there were also 19 Australian rules matches; 6-wins, and 1-draw (so 12-lost?). Does anyone have the results for these Australian rules matches, and should they be included in this article? (Note: the Andrew Stoddart article states 55-matches, but 35 rugby union matches, plus 19 Australian rules matches = 54 matches, not 55?) Best Regards. I have started to tag newspaper articles at Trove at NLA. There is quite a few articles regarding these matches.SauliH (talk) 19:25, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
