Demands
[edit]I don't understand how they started out asking for $2.4 million total, and ended up getting $3M from Malaysia, and another $4M (and $25M "development aid"?) from Libya(?). More detail would be nice too; it's not clear how the hostages were eventually freed...were they just released? It makes it sound like soldiers rescued them, but then it makes it sound like most of them were released. I don't get it. Also, why exactly is Libya paying the money for the Westerners?
